The European management model
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce jointly hosted on Monday May 09, 2011 a speech by Prof Dr Burkhard Schwenker, Chairman of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, on the contrasts between the European and American management models.

Building on extensive secondary research on the performance of European and American companies as well as UK-focused primary research on the management practices in 50+ leading companies, Prof Dr Schwenker outlined economic, political and cultural reasons why the European way is the recipe for sustainable success.
The event was held at the Institute of Directors and attended by c. 80 guests from the corporate world spanning a range of large- and mid-sized public and privately held companies.
